 Today I made a cupcake with a easter theme. I made a chick but it turned out to be a man. We had 15 minutes to finish the cupcake and display it and then Mrs Tuakoi came to judge it. I didn't win but I got to make another one.

Multiplying Fractions

Walht: Multiply fractions.

Today I found this activity from Interactive sites. The multiplying part was easy but the simplifying part was difficult that's why I got 16/20. The challenge was for me to get 20/20 but I got 16/20 but that's still good. I don’t think I need more practice on multiplying fractions any more.

The focus of my brochure is How to clean the Omaru Creek. I think that we deserve a clean creek because we are trying so hard. I think everyone in the Glen Innes Community should take care of their environment!

We had 4 attempts finding the velocity with paper boats. We recorded the time and the distance we found the average. We also used online tools to calculate the velocity. Then we found the average velocity of Sami’s boat was 27.72 cm/sec.
