Winning the sumdog competition
Yesterday was the last day in the sumdog competition. This all started on Monday the 20th November. At the starting we went all out but then we realised that we weren't even doing the competition, that slowed us down in the competition. So when we found out we were doing the wrong mode we went back into the real competition mode and straight away got into the top 10. Then throughout the week we kept on doing sumdog and kept coming in the top 5 at the end of the day but yesterday we caught up to room 10 and overtook them. Room 7 was very hard to overtake them. we were not that behind only 25 points behind but we couldn't beat them we still got 2nd place. I am very happy of coming 2nd in the competition. which place did your school or class come?
Pastel Blending
Yesterday I did a amazing piece of artwork. We drew a pot with a plant on it and with a few leaves. That took me about 20 minutes to do because it was really hard to make it look good with pastels. Once I finished drawing the pot plat then we coloured it. Finally when my class and I did all that we started to work on our background. I blended pink and orange together to make it look very interesting. I really enjoyed doing this kind of art. I am hoping not do more art this term because I do not like art!

The Legendary Result
Yesterday I sat a E-asttle maths strand test. I did a level 4-5 test so it was a bit harder then some of the others. I got a 4p and i'm alright with that. Im not happy but I think its a good score for me because i'm terrible in strand. I went one level down from last time because last term I got a 4a in maths but its alright I still got a four.

Chemical changes - Eggs
Today we made Eggs, baked beans on a Toast. It was quite simple we saw a colour change and a temperature change. The colour changed to the egg water thingy to a the colour white. IT was totally disgusting mainly because of the baked beans. well atleast we saw a chemical change.

Elephants Toothpaste
Today me and my classroom made elephant's toothpaste. We did the experiment in 3 groups of 4. Each of the students contributed by pouring, mixing and cleaning up. These are the ingredients to make elephant's toothpaste:
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Food colouring
- Dishwashing liquid
- Yeast
- Boiling water
We all saw an incredible chemical change. As soon as we poured the yeast onto the hydrogen peroxide it kind of exploded. We saw a new substance, colour change and bubbles forming. Hopefully next time we cant see a bigger explosion
