Summer Learning Journey day 5 week 1 bonus activity

The spaceship was out of control and only one person could save us... It was the captain of the spaceship, "but he had other plans"!! Instead he went of to do his hair. Luckily we had a clever rookie named Gray and he suggested to read the instructions. Step by step we were figuring out the technique but at the same time we were running out of time, tick.. tock.. tick.. tock..

2 minutes later meteors approached the ship. I finally read the whole manual and started steering the wheel to the nearest planet. It was time for sleep for the other members of the team. ZZzzzz ZZZzzz!! Once I woke up I realised I fell asleep while controlling the ship. Our team had no idea where we were. One of the veteran astronauts spotted neptune. We looked the other side and couldn't see any nearby object. So we all knew it was Pluto.

WHen we started the ship up the engines didn't fire up because the engine went missing!! Every one went for a engine hunt and we all came back with nothing. Will the team ever discover where the engine is left hidden.

Dun Dun Dun!!!

Diary of a wimpy kid - The ugly truth

I chose Diary of a wimpy kid because I've read all of the wimpy kid books but just not this one. And I love reading funny books so I would obviously pick this book.

Its also a big book so it we would probably finish the book when the plane lands. I have been in a hurry to grow up so I can drive a car. I am 100% sure that lots of kids would choose this book.

Summer Learning Journey day 5 week 1 task 1

Title: Geronimo Stilton The Karate Mouse

Author: Elisabetta Dami

Description:

This book is about a mouse named Geronimo Stilton and the other characters are Bruce Hyena and Piccolo Tao. Geronimo doesn’t know anything about karate Bruce and Tao are world champions at karate at mouse island.

Bruce had invited Geronimo to a karate tournament. Geronimo only had 1 week to learn new skills. Tao took Geronimo to the sensei to learn the dojo (rules). There was only one day left and Geronimo looked like a professional.

The last day Geronimo faced one of the toughest mouse in the whole tournament. Of course Geronimo was running but Geronimo accidently slipped and he made the big fat guy tumble of the circle.

The crowd was shocked then seconds later the crowd cheered with amazement. Tao and Bruce congratulated Geronimo because he won the tournament. Along came Geronimo's family Thea Stilton, Benjamin Stilton and Davy Stilton.

That's how the story ended the stories morale was to try everything out!!!!!!!
