Order Of Operation Activity

WALHT: use the order of operation-BEDMAS to solve problems.

Today I did a online activity for a practice on my BEDMAS. I found my times tables handy in this activity but I did struggle on my division. As I went up the levels the game problems got harder to solve. I could solve out the easy problems mentally but the last problem was very challenging. I would like to learn the power/exponent problems next.

Estimation Activities

We were learning to estimate different parts of a cob. First,we had to estimate the silk from the cob, then we answered 207 but the actual answer was 214, we were really close. I worked with Ben and Harrison. It was easy working with them because they gave me a chance to talk. The skills we had to use were rounding off and tidy numbers. The next thing I want to learn is to revise meanings of mean, range,median,mode.
