How to write a haiku













Yesterday Miss Donaldson teaches us about Haiku. She taught us the rules of the Haiku: You need 17 syllables on the first line you need 5 syllables 2nd line 7 syllables and last line 5 syllable. You also need to use figurative language. This is how I did my:

Seashells climbing on seashore
Waves marched towards the seashore,
While the wind whistled

I like how you explained the rules of how to make an haiku. I really like your haiku poem but somehow, you didn't follow the 575 part. 5 syllables on the first line, 7 on the second line and 5 on the last line. I've made a haiku poem with Andrea and Norah. Who did you make your poem with?
