Today we had a maori lesson with Ms Maude. She taught us a song named E Te Ariki. This song is a himene and it is sung with harmonies and is accompanied by guitar and piano. The girls had their own part and the boys had their own part. Our part was easy but funny at the same time we had to say aue, aue it was kind of like a song in shrek.

I really enjoyed reading about you singing a maori hymn. Sadly I wasn't there to see you singing with the class. Hopefully I can come next week and sing with the class. Was it fun singing the hymn?
